Londis proud sponsors of ‘Ireland’s Fittest Family’ Score Big for your School Competition Terms and Conditions

 

1. Competition Promoter

This competition is promoted by Londis Stores in the Republic of Ireland in association with the sponsorship of “Ireland’s Fittest Family.”

2. Eligibility

• The competition is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over.
• Employees of Londis, its affiliates, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
• By entering the competition, participants confirm that they meet these eligibility requirements.
  
  
  

3. Competition Dates

• The competition will start on 4th January 2025 and will run until 1st March 2025.
• Entries received outside this period will not be considered.
  
  
  

4. How to Enter

• Participants can enter the competition by scanning a QR code available in participating Londis stores or by accessing the entry page via links shared through Londis social media or digital posts.
• Entries must be submitted through the official competition webpage. No other forms of entry will be accepted. 
• Only one entry per person is allowed.
  
  
  

5. Prizes

• Store Prize: One €100 O’Neill’s voucher will be awarded per participating Londis store, redeemable at the O’Neill’s online store.
• School Prize: Five schools will each have the chance to win €2,000 worth of sports equipment.
• Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
• The O’Neill’s voucher is subject to the terms and conditions of the O’Neill’s online store. 
  
  

6. Selection of Winners

• Store winners will be drawn at random from eligible entries submitted in each participating Londis store.
• School winners will be selected randomly from all eligible schools that have participated.
• Winners will be contacted by 31st March 2025 using the contact details provided at the time of entry. 
• If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim their prize within 14 days, Londis reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
  
  

7. Publicity and PR

• By entering the competition, participants agree to take part in any promotional activities, including but not limited to the use of their names, likeness, and entry details, for PR purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
• Winners may be required to participate in media interviews and/or photo opportunities, which will be used for promotional purposes in connection with the competition.
  
  
  

8. Data Protection

• By entering the competition, participants agree to the collection and processing of their personal data by Londis for the purposes of administering this competition.
• Londis will handle all personal data in accordance with its privacy policy, which is available on the official Londis website.
  
  
  

9. General

• Londis reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
• Any decisions made by Londis regarding this competition are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  
  
  

10. Limitation of Liability

• Londis accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to technical faults, including but not limited to technical malfunction, hardware or software failure, or any other kind of connectivity issues.
  
  
  

11. Governing Law

• These terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
